The Toggenburg Junior Race Association continues to grow and our reputation for excellence in both training and alpine race management is second to none. It’s become clearer now more than ever that the loft space in Toggenburg’s rental shop is no longer adequate space for our junior racing needs. It’s time to invest in a new race center.

A race center for our membership will provide a better environment and atmosphere for our young racers. A new facility will also help focus everyone in the organization, from coaches to racers, and foster a sense of pride. The primary use for race center will be as a hub for our organization, as well as:

• A central location for both preseason and in-season activities
• Classroom training and team meeting space
• Location for equipment tuning and maintenance
• Storage for team and racer equipment
• Race day officials meeting space

Design and Construction

Tim Mahoney, President of Mahoney & Associates [link] is a member of the Toggenburg Junior Race Association and is actively managing the project through its design and construction phase. Mahoney & Associates has decades of experience in designing, construction and management of both residential and commercial real estate projects. In 2008, Tim Mahoney was selected by ABC’s “Extreme Home Make Over” to construct a new home for a deserving family in Geneva, NY.

Make Our Dream A Reality

Our dream of a new race center can only become reality with your help. Whether you’ve been an alpine ski racer yourself, have a child who dreams of a long race career, or you simply have a drive to support young athletes in our area, there are many opportunities for you to join our efforts. All donations will be recognized on our “Wall of Fame” to be located inside our new race center.
